What will be my virtual assistant work schedule?This is up to you. You can assign any office hour schedule of any US time zone. While most of our virtual assistants are hired for full-time, 40-hour-per-week jobs, you, as the client, can set the weekly hours to 20, 30, or 40 hours. It is statistically proven, however, that full-time positions contribute to longer work relationships.

Does the agency run background checks on virtual assistants?We can absolutely run a full background check on any candidate before onboarding them if the client requires so. As part of our standard vetting process, we validate the candidates' academic credentials and verify previous employment referrals.

Will my assistant work from public places like cafes or restaurants?Absolutely not. Our candidates are required to have a professional office at home to work from. Some of our requirements include minimum computer specs, internet speed, and a quiet work environment.

How do I pay my virtual assistant?You'll easily pay The Virtual Owls, a US-based company, through ACH payment using a bank's checking account. As the hiring agency we take care of processing international payments to all of the virtual assistants and make sure the funds are available in every country as soon as possible.

Can I pay a bonus or sales commission to my virtual assistant?Absolutely. While bonuses and commissions are neither required nor expected by our virtual assistants, you can definitely offer them and such payment will be passed directly to your virtual assistant.

How much will a virtual assistant cost me?Hourly rates are divided in two categories: Skilled Owl ($7-9 per hour), and Expert Owl ($10-15).
